Dear Britannica Parents,
A Happy Friday to all before next week's Spring Break!! Last week's Y3 Tamar and Y9 Cookie Friday was truly outstanding. The parent's and children raised 72,270HUFs for the PSA fund. With that our current balance stands at 380,388HUF.
Today we celebrated Book Character Dress Up day as part of Book Week. Also, the children have been hard at work decorating their doors for the Door Decoration Contest. We have three parents, Eva Ratatics, Izabella Iszlai, and Myriam dos Santos, who have volunteered to be judges. We would like to have four more. So, if you would like to volunteer to judge the doors, please send us an email by COB Monday, 15 Apr.
The doors will be ready for judging beginning Tuesday, 16 Apr. We'll need all judging to be completed by the end of April and winners will be announced in May.
Now, on to Spring Fayre. Mr. McGarry announced the tentative timings in last week's school newsletter. They are again shown below:
The following tentative timings are provided:
0800 – 1000 Vendor/PSA Booth/Stall Setup
0930 – Registration for students
0930 – 1000 School Stall Setup
1000 - 1300 Stalls ongoing
1000 - Opening, music performance by School Orchestra
1100 - Interlude 1: music from the School Choir
1145 - Interlude 2: music from individual student performers or small ensembles
1100 - Popsicle Sale ongoing pathway to lower playground
1230 - Raffle draw: NM/PSA Committee, far end of Playground
1315 - Spring Fayre Closes (registration and dismissal procedures TBC separately Primary/Secondary communications)
Tickets will go on sale next Monday and Tuesday, and the week before Spring Fayre. Sale tables will be located at the school's front and rear entrances. Please stop by and pick up your tickets soonest. We will have Green Raffle and Red Event Tickets for purchase. Please see attached our tentative Raffle Prize List, as we are waiting on a couple of prize donor's donations.
We are still in need of a minimum of four (4) Festival Umbrellas. If you know of any contacts,
who could help out with these items, please let us know immediately. It would be greatly
appreciated
