Bring an extra sandwich into school for someone in need and Budapest Bike Maffia will deliver them to shelters around the city!
We are delighted to continue to participate in this sandwich drive organised in partnership with BBM.
All you need to do, is pack an extra sandwich for school and drop it off in the morning at either the top or the front entrance in the designated boxes.
The aim of this project is for school communities to work together with BBM to help the lives of homeless people and support the work of those shelters who cannot provide enough food for their residents. Thanks to the programme, each month an average of 4,000 sandwiches, 60kg of fruit, 40kg of non-perishables and occasionally soft drinks and toiletries are delivered to homeless people around the city. This worthwhile initiative is testament to the power of the "many small streams will form a large river" principle, and we're very proud to be a part of this cause.
