With almost 60 nationalities represented across our school community, International Day is one of our most anticipated family events of the year. From a colourful flag parade, fantastic performances, a beautiful showcase of traditional dress, to a delicious international food court lovingly prepared by our wonderful parents, the day is a colourful celebration of the cultures, traditions and diversity that make our community so special.
Calling all Parent Volunteers - Your Country Needs You!
Each year, our gym is transformed into a vibrant celebration of cultures, with families from across our community coming together to showcase their country’s favourite delicacies. It is a wonderful opportunity for our students to taste delicious foods from around the world and discover something new!
In previous years, we’ve had more than 25 countries represented at our International Day food court. Will we beat that record this year?
Come and be part of the fun and help us make this year’s celebration a fantastic experience for our students, staff and families.
If you’d like to represent your country and join the fun, please contact Sandra at s.fekete@britannicaschool.hu and look for your country’s community group on Classlist to find more parents from your country that may want to volunteer.
Can’t find your country? Why not start your own group? And remember, countries can also come together to form regional groups.
Please note that the food court is open to students and staff only, rather than parents. However, one of the perks of running a stall is that, alongside representing your country and being part of the celebration, you’ll also have the chance to sample some of the delicious offerings from other countries!
