Primary Maths Week

Maths week is fast approaching and this year's theme is all about problem solving. Children will spend the week in maths and other relevant curriculum areas focussing activities around problem solving, including exploring different strategies for finding solutions, language and application in different areas of maths.

As a final celebration for maths week on Friday January 30th, we are encouraging all students to come to school dressed up in the theme 'bring maths to life'! Children can be creative and come to school dressed as anything maths related they can think of. For example, they can come in dressed as a shape, number, equation, clock, calculator or any other maths related item (see ideas below). We look forward to a fun week and celebration during our Friday assembly of maths week!
