Thursday, November 5th | 8:30 | Auditorium

Join us on Thursday, 5th November at 08:30 in the Auditorium for our next Secondary Parent Forum. The event will have two areas of focus.

First, our Head of Secondary, Mr Moruzzi, will explain the changes to our International A-level examinations, with the introduction of AS examinations at the end of Year 12. The session will explore how this approach will spread the examination load, provide earlier feedback on students’ progress and better support their academic outcomes, wellbeing and university progression. Parents will also receive a detailed overview of the subjects and AS units involved, alongside an update on the improvements made to student reporting this academic year. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about how these developments will support our students throughout their Secondary and Sixth Form journey.

Second, Mr Moruzzi will explain how we are improving the information shared with parents through our school reports in Secondary, including, crucially, what happens after reports are published and how the information they contain can be used to support students’ progress. We want reporting to be more than a snapshot of achievement at a particular moment; it should help parents, students and teachers understand what is going well, identify areas for development and agree on meaningful next steps.

Key dates for reports and parent-teacher consultation events this academic year will be shared directly with all parents.
