Monday June 16 | 08:20 - 11:30 | For incoming Year 1 families
All new Year 1 children will be invited, along with their parents and their favourite teddy, to a morning of fun activities at Britannica on Monday June 16th from 8:20am!
Parents can meet the staff team of teachers and teaching assistants, while the children can get to know their new friends.
There will be activities and snacks in the Key Stage 1 garden, free play on the playground and activities inside the classrooms. Parents are asked to stay for the event in order to help their children feel settled and comfortable, but also to make connections with other families.

- 08:20 - 09:00 Welcome, refreshments and free play in the KS1 Garden
- 09:00 - 09:30 Year 1 Team Introductions
- 09:30 - 10:15 Classroom exploration & activities
- 10:15 - 10:30 Snack time
- 10:30 - 11:15 Teddy Bear games & activities
- 11:15 - 11:30 Playground takeover
- 11:30 Goodbyes until August
Children can bring their water bottle from home and parents are welcome to pack a morning snack too.
