Dear Britannica Parents,
Well, let's hope the weather improves somewhat soon. It's a bit too cool and wet for May!
So, we had a wonderful Cookie Friday last week, with Y3 Stour and Y10 parents hosting the event. The students contributed over 55,000HUF to the PSA fund. We currently have 384,748HUF in our account. Upcoming expenses include end of year teacher's appreciation gifts and the ice cream social. We expect to have a balance of around 237,000HUF for next year's PSA committee.
Be a part of the PSA Executive Committee, meet and work with parents and school staff, and have some fun along the way. All board positions will become vacant for next year. We hope that enough parents will step up and place their names as a nominee for one of the four board positions. Without a staffed executive committee next year's PSA sponsored events are at risk.
Today we presented the Feszek Charity with their 1 Million HUF donation. Again, we can't thank all the parents, children, school, and staff enough for their contributions in making the Spring Fayre the success that it was. All of you were superb in supporting this worthwhile event.
The following is just a reminder on upcoming activities for you planning calendars:
27 May (Secondary Assembly) we will again present our Spring Fayre Charity, Feszek, with our donation.
5 Jun, there will be a Senior Leadership Team (SLT) Coffee Morning. Discussion will include the school expansion project, teacher staffing, and the way ahead for next year.
7 Jun will see Y4 Taw and Y6 Tyne host our final Cookie Friday of 2018-2019 school year.
13 Jun will be our last PSA Parents Coffee Morning of the school year. Come say goodbye to the current board members, enjoy a cup of java and bring in your favorite sweet dish.
14 June PSA will host a free Ice Scream (Cream) social for the students/staff after school, 3:30PM, on the back gate ramp .
Class Reps should start discussing with their teachers/class parents concerning end of year class parties. PSA will tentatively schedule a teacher appreciation on 24 Jun. Until next week...
