Alice grew up in West Yorkshire, England. She completed her undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature at the University of Leeds and remained at this university to complete her Secondary PGCE. She spent seven years teaching in Wakefield and Leeds, undertaking a range of departmental leadership positions during this time.
Eager to experience living in another country and working in an international setting, Alice joined Britannica as the Head of Languages. She is looking forward to working creatively with the students at Britannica and promoting a love of literature throughout all Key Stages.
Alice is enjoying life in Budapest and has been busy exploring all the city has to offer. She spends much of her free time running, hiking and seeking out good vegetarian food. She is looking forward to exploring Hungary and surrounding countries further in the coming months.
