We are proud to continue our collaboration with local artist Hannah Tsepliakova for the third year in a row as part of Britannica’s annual mural art project. Her creative vision and dedication have played a vital role in enriching our learning environment—bringing color, inspiration, and a unique artistic touch to our community.

Originally from Belarus, Hannah has been based in Budapest for the past three years. Her passion for art began early—so much so that by the age of 12, her classmates were already turning to her to complete their art projects! Though she graduated with a degree in Economics, she soon realized her true path lay in the creative arts.

In 2021, a portrait oil painting course at a local art studio reignited her passion and helped hone her skills. After moving to Budapest, Hannah began volunteering her talents in calligraphy for local restaurants and bars. Her distinctive work quickly gained attention, and soon, she was fielding requests from venues all over the city.

More recently, Hannah has expanded her talents into the digital space—creating brand logos for startups—though she remains deeply connected to hands-on art. "Creating by hand has a soul," she says, and it’s clear this authenticity shines through in every piece she makes.

You may have spotted Hannah at our Spring Fayre, where she introduced a new creative venture: handmade crochet toys for children. Remarkably, she only picked up crochet last November, yet her whimsical designs were such a hit that she completely sold out at the event!

We’re deeply grateful for Hannah’s continued collaboration and can’t wait to see what she brings to life next.
