Kyna grew up in Northumberland, in the north of England. She studied Sport and Exercise Science at university, where she completed her dissertation on how AI can enhance physical education, before going on to achieve her PGCE with QTS in Secondary Physical Education. Kyna has competed at county level in both football and swimming and enjoys extreme sports, with a strong passion for skateboarding, bouldering, and surfing. She has completed coaching badges in both football and dodgeball, alongside gaining her Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Sports Massage qualifications. Kyna also holds a Level 2 qualification in Understanding Autism, supporting her inclusive approach to teaching and learning in PE. Beyond PE, she enjoys travelling and has a strong interest in art.
