Owen is a maths and science teacher at Britannica International School Budapest.
Owen holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry & Physiology and an M.Sc. in Finance, and he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. After a successful career in financial services, Owen qualified as a teacher seven years ago in Bromley, Kent, obtaining a PGCE through Canterbury Christ Church University, Kent. Prior to coming to Hungary, Owen has been a science and mathematics teacher in Guernsey, Romania and Spain. Owen is especially interested in “abiogenesis”, i.e. the development of life from non-living molecules.
Outside school, Owen enjoys open-water swimming, jujitsu and learning languages, including Hungarian, or at least to attempt it.
