What Makes Key Stage 1 at Britannica Special?
We offer a fully-immersive British learning experience for students that will help them to become responsible global citizens who can work together as team players with the skills to excel in the ever-evolving modern marketplace.
With usually fewer than 15 children in each Year 1 class and support from multiple adults, teachers can get to know every child and provide the individual attention they need.
There is a warm and friendly atmosphere in our school that makes all children feeling welcomed.
Our concept is to provide a rounded education to all children focused on both academic and non-academic areas. Learning opportunities are designed to give students more than just classroom knowledge, but also the tools to apply this knowledge in the real world. Critical thinking, interdisciplinary thinking, problem solving, and conflict resolution are all part of the “big picture” of a holistic education.
Especially in Year 1, academic activities are gradually introduced through purposeful play, games and interactive experiences. Children are encouraged to explore, ask questions and become enthusiastic, independent learners.
Our purpose-built campus features a wide range of facilities, including bright and airy classrooms, a modern swimming pool and indoor sports hall, outdoor fitness gym, primary school playing area, specialist Science labs, Art studio, Music suite, a 250-seat Theatre, a Library and school canteen.
