It is proven that if a student is happy and fulfilled they will thrive
At Britannica International School, your child will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of extra-curricular activities outside the classroom, including sports, languages, drama, music, art and more, both within the school day and after school.
The school offers a wider variety of activities in the form of after-school clubs, trips and events.
After-school clubs vary from year to year however we aim to offer a wide range of activities, for example: drama, media club, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, art, robotics, swimming, craft, cookery and dance, as well as a number of academic clubs. We also offer the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award here at Britannica, and ice-skating and swimming are also offered as part of the PE curriculum in winter and summer respectively.
The school offers a number of day trips in and around Budapest, as well as longer residential trips further afield to enhance learning. These include team-building camps in Hungary, the annual ski trip to Austria, cultural trips to European cities, as well as attendance at model United Nations conferences and exchanges with other schools.
As part of the Orbital group, our students also have the opportunity to participate in a range of cultural exchange programmes. Our students can travel each year for a sailing trip to Mallorca, hosted by our sister school, Baleares International College; they can go skiing to picturesque Slovenia as part of the Orbital ski trip organised by the British International School of Ljubljana; and students from across the Orbital group can pay a historical visit to Budapest or Shanghai.
