Dear parents and carers,

We would like to invite you all to a phonics workshop this coming Tuesday. Our aim is to provide you with an introduction to phonics, to discuss the schemes we use and give some advice about how you can support your child at home.

What we will provide in this workshop is a practical experience where you will learn how we teach new sounds to your child through our phonics programme. You will leave this workshop with new tools and ways to support your child at home not only in phonics, but how this links to reading and writing. You will be able to use these right away...even Tuesday night! During this time, we will also have time to answer any other pending questions you may have.

This session is suitable for the parents of students in Years 1-3, have EAL needs or are new to Britannica. However, if you are unsure on how to support your child at home in their English learning, look no further. This workshop is for you!

Please take the time to fill in this short survey to show your intention to attend or to request further information after the session takes place.

Yours sincerely,

Miss Rosie Wolland
