Year 3 CAT4 Parent Workshop

Before half term, Year 3 children will undertake the CAT4 assessments. These online tests are taken at the beginning of each key stage at Year 3, 7 and 10. The assessments give information about each child's ability in each of 4 areas: verbal, non-verbal, quantitative and spatial awareness. They also give predictions and targets for the end of each key stage.

Parents will receive a report which gives information about their child’s learner profile, plus targets and advice.

Past experience tells us that, while these reports can be very useful, many parents are still left with many questions about how to interpret them. Therefore, Mrs Moreton will run a parent workshop after half tern, just before the reports are given out, on Tuesday 5th November at 8.30 in Room 10 (Y3 Dali Classroom). This parent workshop is open to all Year 3 parents - we look forward to seeing you there!
