Dear Parents
Welcome to this week’s Newsletter, a day earlier and a slightly shorter version than usual!
Parent and SLT Meeting
On Wednesday morning, the senior team enjoyed a lively discussion with parents regarding a broad range of topics connected to Britannica. We discussed the results of the recent Orbital parent survey and talked through recent developments around the school site, particularly the Pirate’s Cove refurbishment and community project plus the start of the extension. If you would like to know more, please contact the PSA or your Class Rep who will be able to provide the minutes of the meeting and the slides from my presentation. Thank you to all the parents who attended. I appreciate that this was the third Wednesday morning in a row for some of you.
Primary Parents’ afternoon
Don’t forget that next Thursday is our second Primary parent’s afternoon of the school year. As well as the usual meeting with your class teacher, please do not forget to sign up to see our specialist teachers. Sign-up sheets are available near the reception.
Nuts
Can I request that children and parents do not bring products containing nuts in to school? We have a number of children who are severely allergic and react extremely badly should they come in to contact. I know it is sometimes difficult to know whether a product does contain traces of nuts but please be as vigilant as possible.
Bank Holiday
Just a reminder, although I am sure your children would already have let you know, that school is closed tomorrow, Friday 15th March as it is a National Holiday in Hungary. I wish you all an enjoyable long weekend.
Kind regards,
Neil McGarry
Principal
