Dear Britannica Parents,

Despite the rainy and stormy weather that we are having these days, we can taste the smell of Summer in the air. Secondary students have been taking their end of year internal examinations this week (so well done to all of them!) while those in Primary have been coming back home feeling thrilled and excited about their upcoming residential trips and soon-to-take-place Step up Day.

As the month of May comes to an end, June’s calendar is filling up quickly with plenty of school activities for both students and parents.

To start with, Wednesday 5th June will see the last parents’ coffee morning with the School Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This meeting is a great opportunity for all parents to know where we are with the school extension plans and to raise any concern they may have about the current and the next academic year. Don’t hesitate and join us after drop-off in the Auditorium!

Also, our last Cookie Friday is taking place Friday 7th June. We are seeking baking and selling volunteers from Y4 Taw and Y6 Tyne hosting classes to make our last fund raiser event another great success. If anyone is interested, please raise your hand and contact your Class Rep.

We aspire to close this academic year with great satisfaction for all the achievements made. However, no less important is thinking in the next school year. Remember that nominations are still being accepted to join the new PSA Executive Committee. So, if you are interested in enrolling and have some time to offer to the community, please step up and send an email to psa@britannicaschool.hu. Our children are counting on you! A big thank you in advance!

Enjoy the weekend and… let’s hope for some summer like weather in June!

Respectfully,

Ray Rabatin, Barbara Belyo, Izabella Iszlai, Szilvia Nemeth, Maria Molina Sierra, Anita Ajan
