Dear Britannica Parents,
Less than three weeks and… school is out! It is amazing how fast this year seems to have passed!
Big kudos to Y4 Taw and Y6 Tyne parents for the success of our last Cookie Friday this year! We think everyone deserves a baking break for now…
We would also like to thank those who showed up last Wednesday at the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meeting where parents were informed about the improvements to be made to the school during the summer and updated on staff changes and school expansion plans. Indeed, a long productive meeting with plenty of questions raised. We very much hope the level of show up to these meetings will be the same or even better the next academic year.
Luckily, that was not the last opportunity for parents to get together.
Right ahead of us we have our last PSA coffee morning. It will take place at the canteen on Thursday 13th June after drop-off. We will procure coffee, tea and some treats --but feel free to bring something to share if you wish! We will use this occasion to say goodbye to those families leaving this summer and wish them the best of lucks! We hope to see many of you there.
For some others, the pick-up time is a better moment to get together. On Friday 14th June, weather permitting, we will also enjoy our traditional Ice Cream Social (iscream). Children and parents are warmly invited to join us on the upper outside courtyard.
Finally, please remember that nominations are still being accepted to join the new PSA Executive Committee. We already have some parents who’ve shown interest, which is great! However, the more candidates we have, the better! Step forward and email psa@britannicaschool.hu with your candidature. Thanking you in advance!
