Dear Britannica Parents,

It seems that the school year only started a few months ago, and here we find ourselves at the final full week of the 2018-2019 school year. Before we close out this final edition of our PSA newsletter, I want to give a personal thank you to our Board members for all their support and efforts during this past year. They did a great job in improving school life for our children and parents. So, please join me in giving a Special Britannica Thank You to Barbara Belyo, Maria Molina Sierra, Szilvia Nemeth, Izabella Iszlai, and Anita Ajan.

And, I want to thank the parents and the school for the opportunity to lead the PSA for the past two years. It was an honor and a privilege to represent all of you. I am a firm believer in term limits, and I believe a two year term is just perfect for this position. Accordingly, my term is up, and I look forward to supporting the next Executive Board as it comes to fruition.

Also, I am a firm believer in a single PSA, single voice, to advocate for our children. To have any other type of organization for our school would be a disservice to our children, school, and parents.

Our Jun Cookie Friday garnered over 56,000HUF. A Big Thank You to Y4 Taw and Y6 Tyne parents for their talents in providing the children with a fantastic end of school year Cookie Friday. With the ice cream social in the books, and the end of year teacher gifts in process, we are leaving a balance of over 250,000HUFs for the next year's Board To Be. However, as of this writing, we do not have a firm commitment from parents on volunteers for the new board. A couple of parents have expressed a solid interest, but nothing firm to report on. There is still time to volunteer!! Here's wishing the new board much success in the future.

Next week is trip week for some primary and secondary classes, and then Wednesday is our last day of school. Please remember, early release at 2:30 on Wednesday, the last day of school.

From the Board, we wish those families that are leaving Britannica God Speed and Good Luck in their future endeavors, and those returning families, a safe and enjoyable summer. We hope to see many of you around the campus next year!!

Respectfully,

Ray Rabatin, Barbara Belyo, Maria Molina Sierra, Izabella Iszlai, Szilvia Nemeth, and Anita Ajan
