Dear Britannica Parents,
Happy International Women's Day to all. May you all have a great day!
A Big Thank You to Year 2 Medway and 8A parents for hosting our Cookie Friday today. They did a super job hosting along with some support from a few other class parents. Well done!
A Spring Fayre email will be sent out next week to all class reps for sharing with their class parents. Please take a few moments to review the email which has important information concerning the Fayre. So far, we have commitments from 16 raffle donors and 6 stall rentals. We could use a few more.
World Book Month is in March, however, due to scheduling issues, we'll celebrate with a Book Week during the week of 8 Apr. We'll be looking for parent readers to come in and read books in their native languages. More to follow as events and timings are firmed up. If asked, please take some time to come in and read to your child's(ren's) class. Remember parent involvement is a major key to your child's(ren's) success. We suspect they would love to see you too.
Don't forget to mark your calendars for parents' Coffee Morning with the School Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The meeting will be held this Wednesday, 13 Mar, after drop off in the auditorium. Parent survey results will be the topic of discussion.
Just a reminder, if you have individual concerns/issues, please follow the schools policy on vetting those issues/concerns. Parents should discuss the issue/concern with their teachers first, then key stage coordinators, heads of primary/secondary, and the Principal, in that order. If you are not happy with the result or responses, we would be glad to advocate with the school on you or your child(ren's) behalf.
Until next week....
Respectfully,
Ray R, Barbara B, Izabella I, Szilvia N, Maria S
