Lewis is originally from a small town in England called Houghton-Le-Spring. He completed a Sport Science Degree at the University of Sunderland and then his SCITT teaching degree at Durham University.
Lewis has a plethora of job experiences from being a roofer, coaching in a college, teaching in a secondary school, personal training and a sports masseuse.
Completing his NQT year at an infant school in Stanley as a Year 1 teacher, Lewis then moved onto Year 4 within a parent school in the following year as well as being Head of PE at that school.
Lewis has a huge passion for sport and PE and competed at a high level before turning to teaching. He loves every sport, but in particular, his favourite sports are boxing and football.
Lewis will give anything a go and loves to travel, meet new people and experience new experiences.
Lewis is hugely excited to be part of Britannica International School and is looking forward to the challenges that are ahead.
