Ian Gould
Ian comes from Northampton in England. Before joining Britannica, he taught English as a foreign language in the Czech Republic and Portugal. Most recently, he worked as a History teacher in a secondary school in Leicester. He encourages students to think independently and to use evidence to form their own understanding of the past. He also inspires learning through an active and skills-based approach. In his free time, he is an avid concert-goer, chess player and scuba diver. He also spends a significant amount of his time following sports (especially rugby and the Northampton Saints!), learning Hungarian and studying for his Master’s in Education.
