PGCE MFL ( French with German)
Aurore grew up in the South East of France, on the French Riviera, where she developed a passion for languages and cultures. Whilst working as a MFL teacher (French and Spanish) in a Secondary school for thirteen years, she additionally worked in Primary schools (Years 1-6), and private languages centres. In addition to this she worked in language programs at Sunderland, Newcastle and Durham Universities as a French teacher (CEFR levels and assessments). Aurore is passionate about innovative teaching and collaborated with Newcastle University, on the Digital Kitchen project, which won the European Language Label prize in 2012. Last year, she took up a post as a PGCE tutor at Newcastle University; where all 122 student teachers in her cohort, successfully attained their PGCE qualification. Contiguously, she interpreted at Newcastle United Football Club for their French native speaking players at press conferences and tv interviews.
