We are delighted to share with you the results of the Britannica Parent Survey 2020-21.

Our immediate first impression when we visited the school was that all the kids love being here. And it is true, they really do.”

The response rate to this year’s Parent Survey has been consistent with that of previous years, giving us a broad and balanced view from across all year groups. Thank you for taking the time to share your opinions and feedback with us, it is very much appreciated and valued as we embrace continuous improvement here at Britannica and strive to provide the best possible learning environment for our students.

70% of parents participated in at least one of our many virtual events – 13% above the average across other Orbital schools. We are delighted to have been able to maintain your engagement with school events despite these challenging times.

We are extremely enthusiastic about the quality and the kindness of the teachers. The kids feel very welcome at the school.”

The top 3 areas that you believe the Britannica International School Budapest excels in:

1. Teaching Staff

2. Personalised Approach

3. Academic Achievements

The two main areas you feel our school needs to improve in:

1. Facilities

2. After School Activities

Based on the priorities in our School Development Plan and your feedback, we have already put together an action plan for moving forward, where we will consider:

1. Outside Facilities – redesign and improve play and recreation opportunities for better use of our outside areas.

2. Extra-Curricular Activities – review our ECA provision to identify ‘gaps’, planning for next year (post COVID restrictions) to offer a greater choice to our students.

3. Canteen – develop the refurbishment and upgrade of our canteen facilities.

Once again, thank you for your ongoing encouragement and trust, we are very lucky to have such a supportive community of parents, and are very grateful for the many positive comments we have received again during this new online learning period.

We are really happy with the online learning so far. Our daughter really enjoys it and is really motivated to log in to meetings on time. I am very impressed how she’s so independent with all the technology.”
