Everyone within the Britannica International School, Budapest community would like to congratulate our Year 11 and Year 13 students for their outstanding IGCSE and A Level results, achieved under exceptionally challenging circumstances.

As results are announced this week, initial indicators suggest that Britannica students have achieved the highest A Level grades in Hungary. Truly remarkable!

They have, yet again, performed significantly above UK averages.

The students also compare favourably with the best native speaking private schools in the UK - a remarkable achievement given that many of our students are non-native English speakers.

The results of our Year 13 graduating Class of 2021 once again demonstrate how A Levels are the gold standard in post-16 education worldwide.

We are proud to announce their acceptance to some of the best global universities!

Principal Neil McGarry was overjoyed for all of the students and had the following to say:

Their journey over the last two years has been the most challenging any set of students have faced and to achieve the results they have is incredible. They are an extremely determined and resilient group who I am sure will go on to great things in the future.
