Jamie was born and raised in a small coastal town in the east of England. After completing a degree in International Business Studies at Nottingham Trent University he decided to spend a summer teaching at a summer camp in the United States. It was here where he discovered his passion for teaching and subsequently completed his teacher training at Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln, England before teaching in Year 3 in his hometown.
With a desire to experience other countries and cultures Jamie spent five years teaching a variety of primary year groups in Yangon, Myanmar. He enjoyed exploring the vibrant culture and natural beauty in this region whilst developing his teaching practice.
Jamie is excited to continue his journey in Budapest, and is ready to embrace the culture of Hungary and enjoy all that the country has to offer. He loves spending his free time playing sport, running, hiking, or enjoying a good book.
Jamie is looking forward to his first year at Britannica and teaching the fantastic students of Year 4 Bourgeois.
