Lydia was born in Croydon, South East London, before moving to Singapore at the age of 16. After completing her degree in Journalism at the University of Leeds, she completed her teacher training to become an English Teacher and has recently moved to Budapest to experience international education from the other side of the classroom. She loves the new challenges and opportunities that teaching internationally has brought, and is excited to now be a part of the Britannica team.

Lydia is a very keen cyclist who has raced in countries such as the UK and Malaysia, and on the weekend can be found exploring Budapest and its hills on her bike.
