We are very excited to announce the launch of an iOS App developed by Britannica students!
Three of our amazing Sixth Formers coded an application to provide useful information about various museums in and around Budapest.

Last year, Mr Jakab, Teacher of Mathematics masterminded a Discovery Day which involved the whole staff and student body in Secondary visiting various museums across the city. Whilst there, students collected and collated information about each venue with the aim of creating an app that could serve as a guide to the museums of Budapest.

The project was created by Mark, with collaboration of Gergely and Yingtao in Year 12. Once they obtained their Apple Developer license, the app was successfully launched on the App Store. An Android version is currently in development.

Congratulations go to all pupils and teachers involved; this has been a massive undertaking and the finished app reflects all of their hard work and commitment.

Computer Science is offered in our secondary school from the age of 11 and from 14-18 as an IGCSE and A level option course. Computer Science provides an opportunity for an excellent career pathway and it gives a strong foundation in problem-solving, logical knowledge, and critical thinking. It is now evolving into one of the most popular university courses.
