Flóra Kozma

Y8A Tutor, Teacher of Science

Flora was born and raised in Hungary, then moved to the UK at the age of 14, where she completed her GCSEs and A Levels. She achieved her
dream of studying Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, graduating in 2017 with an MSc in Biochemistry. After working as a
Science technician in a secondary school and a rewarding summer teaching a short course in Saudi Arabia, she decided to become a
Science teacher. She completed her PGCE at the University of Oxford in 2019, then began her teaching career in Sheffield, where she enjoyed
working in a diverse, multicultural environment with students from Year 7 to Year 13. As an avid traveller, Flora has always wanted to explore the
possibility of teaching abroad - although in this case, going ’abroad’ meant returning to her home country! She is enjoying calling Budapest
home and spends her free time reading, climbing, hiking, taking photos and finding joy in the cultural and culinary delights of the country - especially her grandma’s cooking!
