The school offers a wide variety of activities in the form of after-school clubs, trips and events.
After-school clubs vary from year to year however we aim to offer a wide range of activities, for example: drama, media club, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, art, robotics, swimming, craft, cookery and dance as well as a number of academic clubs. Ice-skating and swimming are also offered as part of the PE curriculum in winter and summer respectively.
The school offers a number of day trips in and around Budapest as well as longer residential trips further afield. These include team-building camps in Hungary, the annual ski trip to Austria, cultural trips to European cities as well as attendance at model United Nations conferences and exchanges with other schools.
The European schools within the Orbital group have recently developed a cultural exchange programme. A community of students from Budapest will be travelling for a sailing trip to Mallorca. Spanish children will pay a historical visit to Hungary and a skiing trip is being organized in Slovenia with the cooperation of the British School in Ljubljana.
Our ECA clubs run in 2 cycles with the first from September until February, with Year 1 having time to settle into the new routines in Primary and delaying their start until the November.
