The safety and wellbeing of our students is our top priority.

To safeguard all of our community, an access card is required to enter the school. Both entrances have security gates, similar to those at airports that require all members of the community to scan into the building. Security guards are on site to support this process.

New parents will receive two cards per family. In the first few days, until the cards are created, our Security team will support new families to enter the school site securely.

Entry Card FAQs

Why do we need an entry card?

All personnel need a card to access the school building at the front or the back gate.

Please use your card every time you enter or leave the school.

How can I get my entry cards?

During your first few days at Britannica, we will take a photo of your child. Our IT team will then prepare your card(s) and it will be ready to collect from our School Office.

You will receive an email once your cards are ready to collect.

The first set of cards upon enrolment are provided free of charge. Additional cards or the replacement of lost cards are charged at 2.500HUF per card.

What happens if I forget to bring my entry card?

If you forget to bring your entry card with you, you will be required to sign in upon entry at the School Office, wear a Visitor's Badge during your stay, and sign out upon leaving the building.

This is essential due to Fire, Health and Safety procedures.

What happens if I lose my entry card?

You will need to order a new card by emailing accesscards@britannicaschool.hu. The cost of additional and replacement access cards is 2.500HUF per card. Our IT team will prepare a new card and you will receive an email from our School Office once it is ready.
